community on the shores of Lake Keowee in the foothills of the Blue Ridge
Mountains. Lake Keowee’s crystal clear water is considered one of the two best
among South Carolina lakes.

Lake Keowee sprawls across 18,500 acres.
The lake's 18,500
acres of clear, Blue Ridge Mountain-fed water and 300 miles of
shoreline provide The Reserve at Lake Keowee with an ideal place for
boating, fishing, water-skiing, swimming, camping and picnicking.
The community is
conveniently located near 350 miles of upstate South Carolina trails.
Nearby are national forest lands, six state parks, heritage preserves,
county parks, and the Jocassee Gorges preservation area.

most beautiful, mountain-fed lakes, Lake Keowee is home to large mouth
bass, small mouth bass, blue gill and white bass. The fishing is
outstanding.

Lake Keowee is renowned for its fishing and boating.
There are also miles of hiking and biking trails, which provide

Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf
Nicklaus, whose reputation as a golf course designer
rivals his legacy as the "Golfer of the Century," blends his ideas
with the natural environment to let it help shape the design of each
hole at The Reserve.
The golf course uses the features of the Blue Ridge terrain--lush, rolling
foothills with lake and mountain views amid mature forests of mixed hardwoods
and pine. Natural water hazards are provided compliments of local mountain
streams and Lake Keowee.
